Hardin Northern STEM Teacher Bethany Kauffman Awarded $5,000 Grant to Enhance Elementary Program

Hardin Northern’s Elementary and Jr. High STEM teacher Bethany Kauffman has been awarded a $5,000 STEM grant from the Battelle Foundation Fund.

The grant will go directly toward enhancing the school’s elementary STEM program and supporting the Makerspace, giving students even more opportunities to explore, create, and innovate.

Hardin Northern School officials thanked Mrs. Kauffman for her dedication to the students and her commitment to inspiring a love for STEM.

They added that her hard work and passion are making a difference.
