23-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot Over the Weekend in Lima
A 23-year-old Lima man is dead after being shot in that city over the weekend.
According to a release from the Lima Police Department, officers were dispatched Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center Park after receiving a report about a man down.
Officers arrived to locate the male, who was suffering from several gunshot wounds.
The individual was identified as Rakeem Jones, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are currently following up on several leads, but no one is in custody at this time.
