Ohio State Highway Patrol’s OSTATS Dashboards Reveal Key Road Crash Data
If you would like to take a deeper dive into what Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers are seeing every day on Ohio’s roads, visit the Ohio Statistics and Analytics for Traffic Safety, or OSTATS, dashboards.
The patrol’s OSTATS Crash Dashboard allows users to view crashes in their area by any of 19 crash variables and includes statistics by hour, day, month, road, and crash severity.
The system also allows any law enforcement agency across Ohio to display information on crashes investigated by their officers using the NCIC search function.
Each of the dashboards provides the public with interactive statistics that demonstrate the importance of troopers enforcing laws and educating motorists on traffic safety issues.
