The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance are delighted to announce that Lt. Governor Jon Husted will be the distinguished guest speaker at the community ribbon-cutting event at the Wilson Football Factory on July 8th. The event will commence at 9:30 AM, and all community members are invited to join. Attendees will have the chance to book factory tours, explore the gift shop, and visit the museum area.
Lt. Governor Husted provided the following statement, “Wilson footballs are an iconic brand and the essential element of America’s most popular sport,” said Lt. Governor Jon Husted. “Whether it is an NFL quarterback on Sunday afternoon or a dad and kid tossing the ball around in the backyard, we can take pride in the fact that the source of their enjoyment was made in Ohio. On behalf of the state of Ohio, I’d like to congratulate the Wilson team on their expansion and for continuing to invest in the Buckeye State.”
Lt. Governor Jon Husted played football for the University of Dayton where he earned All-American honors as a cornerback and kick returner. He was a starter on UD’s 1989 NCAA Division III national championship team.
