Man Arrested In Lima After Hostage Situation

Lima Police and the Allen County Sheriff's Office defused an apparent hostage situation Sunday morning. Adrienne Shelton at WLIO reports a portion of North Woodlawn Avenue was blocked off by tactical vehicles and personnel for several hours before the arrest of a suspect for alleged felonious assault. Investigation into the incident remains ongoing.

Drivers in Lima are to be advised of two construction projects beginning this week. Starting Monday, March 29, one lane of the 1600 block of Fourth Street will be closed for 10 days as part of the city's 2021 Various Stormwater Improvement Project. Findlay Police, OSHP Nab Suspected Trailer Thief

Findlay Police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol made the arrest of a man alleged to have stolen a semi trailer and driven it to Ohio Friday afternoon. Officers caught up to the Missouri-registered trailer at the corner of Lincoln and Main Streets around 3:20 p.m. The trailer had been reported stolen by the Longwood Police Department in Florida. Investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
