The Kenton High School wresters travelled north of Findlay this weekend to compete in the Van Buren Invitational. The large two day tournament had over thirty teams participating; mostly from division three schools that included Allen East, Liberty-Benton, Columbus Grove, Riverdale and many other surrounding schools. The Kenton Lady Wildcats were in a tough battle with the Upper Sandusky Lady Rams on Monday night. Upper Sandusky came out hot in the 3rd quarter and the Wildcats could not catch up as they fell by a score of 61-51. The Cats were led in scoring by Tatum Miller with 12 points. The wildcats used 4 quarters of full court defense to hold Celina to 21 points on there way to a 34-21 road victory. The wildcats move to 9-4 overall and 5-2 in the WBL. The wildcats were led in scoring by Maddux McFarlin with 10, Brennan Heberling with 9, Issac Anderson with 4 and Kyle Barrett with 3.
