Alger Public Library Closing in on Goal of Library Card Holders

Library officials announced that they will be holding a celebration when they reach 1000. That will come in the form of a pizza party. The Alger Public Library is located at 100 West Wagner Street in the village.

Kenton High School will be holding their open house this week.  Junior and senior students will be able to pick up their schedule and laptop tomorrow, Wednesday, August 14 from 1p.m. - 3 p.m. Open House is set to be held from 6p.m. - 8 p.m. for sophomores and freshmen. Findlay Man Injured in Crash in Hancock County Monday Afternoon

A Findlay man was injured in a crash that occurred in that city Monday afternoon. According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 58-year-old Lonny Duncan was stopped for traffic in the 1200 block of Tiffin Avenue, when his vehicle was struck from behind by a car being operated by 17-year-old Trevor Hibbard, of Bluffton.
