A Findlay man was injured in a crash that occurred in that city Monday afternoon. According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 58-year-old Lonny Duncan was stopped for traffic in the 1200 block of Tiffin Avenue, when his vehicle was struck from behind by a car being operated by 17-year-old Trevor Hibbard, of Bluffton. An injury accident occurred at the intersection of Detroit and Ohio Streets at around 4:15 Monday afternoon. According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 33-year-old Ronald Kwiatkowski III drove onto Detroit Street from the red flashing light on Ohio, and his car was struck by a southbound pickup truck being operated by 69-year-old John Seiler, of Kenton. The R.E. and Joan S. Allen Scholarship Foundation announced the awarding of $130,000 in scholarships to 84 students for 2024. Students graduating from Kenton High School and employees, or their family members, of Graphic Packaging International Kenton Plant, are eligible to apply for these awards. Ohio State Highway Patrol Urges Drivers to Slow Down After Trooper Recently Cites Motorist for 108 MPH in 55 MPH Zone in Auglaize County

Last week, a trooper from the Wapakoneta cited a motorist for traveling 108 miles an hour in a posted 55 miles an hour zone. The traffic stop took place on Buckland Holden Road in Auglaize County. This year, there have been over 15,100 speed-related crashes on Ohio's roadways.
