Forest-Jackson Public Library Receives Grant For New Books

Photo: Forest-Jackson Public Library The Forest-Jackson Public Library recently announced they are recipients of a grant from the Dollar General Foundation.  They have used the grant money to add $2,000 worth of new books to their library collection. They recommend any child who was inspired by any of their programs on science, magic, animals or art, to stop in and check out the new collection.

On Monday, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced nearly $900,000 in grants to support law enforcement, prosecutors, and victim advocacy groups in their shared goal of supporting sexual assault survivors and holding attackers accountable.  The Ohio Department of Public Safety's Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) is awarding the funding as part of the new Ohio Sexual Assault Investigations Grant Program.
