Parents can send any non-perishable food items and toiletries to school with their students. Collection bins are in different GRIT teacher’s classrooms. The goal is to collect 1000 cans by November 15. The GRIT House with the most cans gets lunch catered.

The next Hardin County Safety Council meeting will be held on Thursday, November 21. It will start at 8:00 AM at Memorial Park Golf Club in Kenton. The featured speaker is Kyle Brammel, a Captain at the Kenton Fire Department. He will give a presentation on fire safety. The Ohio Department of Transportation will temporarily close a rest area tomorrow on U.S. 30 between Upper Sandusky and Bucyrus. The eastbound rest area will be closed from noon until 3pm Wednesday afternoon for electrical repairs. The building will be closed during that time, but parking will remain available for visitors.
