Photo: Ohio Northern University The annual Trike-A-Thon was held over this past weekend on the campus of Ohio Northern University. The event raised $1,231, surpassing the original goal. The money will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The event provides a yearly opportunity for the ONU Polar Bears to positively interact with the youngest campus cubs while raising funds for those in need.
The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet this Thursday, October 10. The meeting will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Office in the basement of the Hardin County Courthouse in Kenton. It is the Board of Election's regular board meeting, and they will also conduct public logic and accuracy testing on the voting equipment.
The Lehr Building on the campus of Ohio Northern University in Ada was placed on lockdown Monday afternoon. Adult volunteers will spend one day a month eating lunch with a 3rd grade student. The program starts this month. Participants may be required to pass a background check.
