The Hardin County Historical Museums will present its Haunted Museum this weekend. It will be held this Friday and Saturday, October 11th and 12th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm each night. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children. The museum is located at 223 North Main Street in Kenton.

ODOT District 1 has announced an Interstate 75 Traffic Advisory for Hancock County. There will be overnight work on I-75 and CR 99, as crews set structural steel beams for the new bridge. Each night of the closure, from 11:00pm until 5:00am, traffic will be routed onto CR 99 ramps and CR 99 will be closed over I-75. A former Kenton school teacher was sentenced this morning in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. 35-year-old Dustin R. Clapsaddle was sentenced to a total of 10 years in prison on charges of rape, sexual battery, gross sexual imposition and kidnapping. He was convicted on the charges after a four-day jury trial in June of this year. The victim, a former student of Clapsaddle, had just turned 17 when the incident […]
