The Hardin County Historical Museums is selling copies of the Hardin County Military Service Book. The book was created in 2021 It was written and edited by Sheena Capelle and Chase Fleece. Copies are available at the museum for $25. The book was written to show appreciation and thankfulness to all the men and women who have served.
Bluffton University's Commencement will be held May 4th. It will start at 10am this Saturday in the Sommer Center. Glen Guyton, executive director of Mennonite Church USA, will provide the address entitled "I Succeeded." This is Bluffton University's 124th Commencement ceremony.
A Dunkirk man was indicted earlier last month on multiple counts. According to documents filed in Hardin County Common Pleas Court, 28 year old Cody R. Switzer was indicted on five counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material of performance and one count each of falsification and tampering with evidence. There are two blood drives scheduled around the area in the month of May. The first is Monday, May 6th at Painter Creek Grange Hall from 11am until 5pm. The Grange Hall is located at 21552 County Road 190 in Mt. Victory. You can donate blood on Monday, May 20th from noon until 6 at the Kenton Moose Family Center located at 801 West Lima Street in Kenton. A Dunkirk man was injured in a two vehicle crash that occurred late Monday afternoon in Findlay. According to the report from the Findlay Police Department, 24 year old Nathan Reeves was stopped in traffic on Trenton Avenue when his car was struck from behind by a vehicle being operated by 21 year old Lei Melick, of Findlay.
