Benjamin Logan High School Baseball Team Receives Visit From the Ohio State Highway Patrol

Photo: Benjamin Logan Local School District The Benjamin Logan High School baseball team received a visit from a member of the Ohio State Highway Patrol this week. Lieutenant Allen from the Piqua Post spoke about the patrol's Drive to Live program. It is geared towards meeting teens where they are and listening with shared interest about their future. Lt. Allen spoke about safe driving and the dangers of distracted driving and impaired driving.

Kenton Woman Arrested on Six-Count Indictment

A Kenton woman has been arrested on a six-count indictment recently returned by a Hardin County Grand Jury. According to Hardin County Common Pleas Court documents, 33-year-old Crystal Wilson is facing three counts of strangulation and one count each of felonious assault, domestic violence and violating a protection order or consent agreement. The incident allegedly occurred in late April of this year. Wilson will be arraigned in Hardin County Common Pleas Court on May 15th.

Kenton Man Cited After Crash in Marion County Thursday Afternoon

A Kenton man was cited after a crash that occurred Thursday afternoon in Marion County. According to the report from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 27-year-old Austin Dunson was driving southeast on a curve on 309 when he attempted to pass a vehicle in front of him. Water Main Break Repaired on Thursday Night in Kenton

Photo: City of Kenton City of Kenton workers repaired a water main break Thursday night on Columbus Street, between Hester and Morningside Drive. The break was a 15 -inch crack on the bottom side of an 8- inch water main. The crew repaired the break while the system was under pressure, which allowed all restaurants, businesses, and those in the area to operate as normal. After the work was completed, no boil water order was required.
