Despite the rainy weather and being soaked for hours, they worked tirelessly last week with mulching, filling potholes, hanging veteran banners, and more. Hardin Northern students have been celebrating Service Week all last week in their community and at school.

Graphic Packaging in Kenton will hold a public cup sale this Saturday. It will be held from 8am until noon, May 18th at 809 Fontaine Street in Kenton. They will not be selling plates and will no longer accept cash. All payments are to be made via credit cards.
Kenton City Council is scheduled to meet this evening. During the meeting, the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance will present its May Development Report. Under business, two ordinances will be on first reading. One is to provide additional appropriations for 2024 and the other is to allow utility work by American Electric Power. The ninth regular session of the year will start at 7 this evening in the Kenton City Building.
