The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County increased 6 cents a gallon this week. A rural Kenton resident escaped serious injury in a roll over crash that occurred late Friday afternoon. The crash occurred just before 4:30 on Carrol at Glendale Streets in Kenton. The complete report is not available at this time, but according to information on the police department's daily log sheet, Corey M. Eversole was cited for an improper turn. BKP and the Kenton Fire Department assisted at the scene.
A Marion man was arrested over the weekend in that county on a warrant from Hardin County. According to the Kenton Police Department, officers were notified by the Marion County Sheriff's Office that 29 year old Donald Redmon II was arrested by their deputies following a foot pursuit. Redmon was transported to the Hardin County Sheriff's Office after the warrant was served.
A Kenton woman was arrested in Logan County on a warrant through the Kenton Police Department. According to the report, an officer was dispatched to the Hardin/Logan County line to take custody of 34 year old Rachael McGrath. She was arrested on the warrant by deputies from the Logan County Sheriff's Office.
A Richwood man was arrested following a two-month investigation into alleged drug trafficking that was occurring at the Forrest Lane Apartment. According to a release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, detectives from the Multi-Agency Drug Enforcement (M.A.D.E.)
