Drivers Escape Injury in Wyandot County Crash

Theft Reported at Walmart in Kenton

A theft was reported at Walmart over the weekend.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were requested at the store where they were informed that a woman allegedly stole several clothing and miscellaneous items.   The suspect, listed on the report as a Bellefontaine woman, is facing a charge of theft.

Ribbon Cutting Scheduled at KHS Athletic Complex

A Ribbon Cutting ceremony has been scheduled at the new Kenton Senior High School Athletic Complex.   The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance will conduct the ceremony starting at noon on Friday February 15.   The complex is located at 200 Hardin Avenue in Kenton.

Hardin County Democratic Party Schedules President’s Day Luncheon

Former Ohio State Senator Joe Schiavoni will keynote the annual Presidents Day Luncheon for the Hardin County Democratic Party.     The luncheon will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at noon in the lower level of the Kenton Moose Lodge, 801 W. Lima St., Kenton, OH.   Donations will be $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for students elementary school through college, payable at the door.

Average Gas Price Climbs Above $2.00

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County has climbed back above $2.00 a gallon.   AAA reported the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas was $2.05 today, which is an increase of 12 cents from last Monday.   The cheapest average price in our region is Allen County's $2.00, while the most expensive is in Logan County at $2.19 a gallon.   The statewide average is at $2.12 a gallon, and the nationwide […]

Tori Newland scored 23 points to lead Allen East to a 59-34 win over Upper Scioto Valley in girls basketball action Saturday afternoon. Katie Newland added 14 more points for the Mustangs, who improve to 12-4 with the win. Upper Scioto Valley (2-16) got 14 points from Haylie Martin.
