Kenton Boys Tennis Competed at the WBL Tournament

The Kenton Boy Tennis team traveled to UNOH for the WBL Tournament Thursday. In 1st singles, Seth Spencer beat Josh Schoen 6-1, 6-4 in round 1. In Round 2, he fell to Jake Ackroyd 1-6, 0-6, sending him to the backdraw where he lost to Noah Compton 1-8. Wyatt Davis Earns First Varsity Win in USV Blowout over Arlington

The USV varsity baseball team secured an 18-9 win over Arlington on Thursday night. Wyatt Davis got the start for the Rams and picked up his first varsity win after pitching 3 2/3 innings. At the plate, Jesse Prater was on fire, blasting a home run and driving in five runs. Ryan Roberts, Andrue Kindle, Macain Underwood, and Beau Sanders also chipped in with RBIs. The win moves the Rams to 5-10 on the season.

USV Wins in Blowout

The USV varsity baseball team faced off against Waynesfield-Goshen on Wednesday, coming out on top with a 13-3 win. The Rams started strong with a six-run first inning and kept control the whole game. Jesse Prater pitched all five innings, giving up just one hit and striking out seven. At the plate, Caiden Lowery and Wyatt Davis led the way driving in three runs. The win moves the Rams’ record to 4-10 overall and 3-4 in the NWCC.

Cory-Rawson defeated Upper Scioto Valley 8-7 in eight innings Monday night in a Northwest Central Conference matchup. Cory-Rawson scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the 8th when Austin Inbody led off with a single. Inbody then stole second and third before scoring on an error.
