Ben Logan Narrowly Defeats Indian Lake in Girls Golf

Despite the muddy and wet conditions, the Benjamin Logan varsity girls golf team won a dual match against Indian Lake on Tuesday night at Cherokee Hills Golf Course. USV Begins Fall Sports Season

The first week of USV athletics for the 2026–27 fall sports season is here, kicking off with Junior High Volleyball at Waynesfield-Goshen on Tuesday, August 18 at 5:30 PM. On Wednesday, August 19, High School Volleyball takes on Ada at home at 5:30 PM. Thursday, August 20 features Junior High Football at North Baltimore at 5:30 PM, and the week wraps up on Friday, August 21 with High School Football against Ada at home at 7:00 PM.

Riverdale Takes 3rd at Elmwood Invitational

The Riverdale Falcons golf put on an impressive showing at the Elmwood Invitational at Birch Run, placing 3rd out of 10 teams with a total score of 347, trailing only Carey and Bluffton. Andrew Alge led Riverdale with a score of 81, followed by Collin Vent with 88, Carter Vent and Grady Phelps each scoring 89, Zach Karg with 110, Tate Weber at 114, and Wynter Frey finishing with 116.

Kenton Boys Golf Opens Season with Win

The Kenton Wildcats boys golf team opened its 2026 season Friday on a winning note, defeating Delphos Jefferson 183-215 in a road match. Leading the Wildcats were Austin Root and Oliver Sneary, who each carded a team-best 45. Rhoen Goldsmith followed closely with a 46, while Anden Goldsmith added a 47 to round out Kenton's four scoring rounds. Quin Kozman shot a 51, and Kiefer Bushong finished with a 54.
