Fundraiser Set to Benefit Safe Haven of Hardin County

A Spaghetti Dinner and Concert Fundraiser as been set for Saturday April 13 at the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church.   The meal will be served from 5 until 6:30pm followed by the concert at the church, which is located around 4 miles north of Kenton on U.S. 68.   All the proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Safe Haven of Hardin County.

Crash Damages Vehicles in Bellefontaine Wednesday

Two vehicles were damaged in a crash that occurred in Bellefontaine around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.   According to the Bellefontaine Police Department report, 16 year old Destiny Close attempted to turn left from East Sandusky onto North Hayes Street, when her car struck an eastbound car being operated by 59 year old Rebecca Rutherford, of Bellefontaine.   Moderate damage occurred to both vehicles.   There were no injuries, and Close […]

Driver Cited Following Downtown Kenton Crash

A crash occurred in downtown Kenton Wednesday afternoon.   According to information on the Kenton Police Department Daily Log Sheet, the crash occurred on Detroit near Columbus Street at just before 2:30pm.   Rachael Bethel, of Kenton, was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.   No other information is available on the crash at this time.
