The Logan County Sheriff's Office is holding its annual Family Fall Festival on October 8. It will start at 1:30 on that Sunday afternoon at Marmon Valley Farm. The afternoon will feature hay rides , pony rides and other activities at the farm. A food truck will also be selling food to the public on sight.

Hardin County BPW Awards Scholarship

Vanessa Brim (on left) presented the check to Bash Hardin County Business & Professional Women’s Club awarded a $500 scholarship to Rebecca Bash from Mt. Victory.  The presentation was made at the Club's June meeting. She is the daughter of Karen and Jon Bash and is a senior at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University.  Her goal is to get teaching credentials with a BA for Middle Childhood Education.
