The Annual Hardin County Golf Outing DARE Fundraiser has been scheduled. It will be held on August 26. Check in is at 8 and Shotgun Start at 9 that morning. It will be held at Veterans Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton. The cost is $55 for non-members and $25 for members. Man Arrested, Numerous Drugs, Cash and Other Items Confiscated Wednesday in Lima

OVI Checkpoint in Allen County Friday Evening

The Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol announced today that an OVI checkpoint will be held in Allen County Friday evening.  The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.  OVI checkpoints are designed to not only deter impaired driving, but to proactively remove dangerous drivers from the roadways. The exact location of the checkpoint will be announced Friday morning.
