The Optimist Club of Kenton-Central Hardin County will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow. It will start at 1 Saturday afternoon at the Hardin County Courthouse lawn in downtown Kenton. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for our area until 8 this evening. Southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph can be expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.

Medication Disposal Day will be held at four locations in Hardin County on Saturday April 30. The deadline to file your 2021 Kenton City Tax is Monday April 18th.   You can stop at the city building at 111 West Franklin, from 8:30AM-4:30PM daily.   If you plan on mailing your taxes, make sure they are postmarked by April 18th.  If you have other questions, you can call the tax department 419-673-1355.
