Bellefontaine Man Accused of Raping 7 Year Old Boy

A Bellefontaine man has been arrested in connection to rape investigation.

WPKO Radio reported that 28 year old Patrick Newsome is accused of sexually assaulting a 7 year old boy over the past few months.

The parents of the victim notified police late last week and a search warrant was executed at Newsome’s residence in the 400 block of Woodland Drive in Bellefontaine.

Newsome was transported to the Logan County Jail on two counts of rape.
