The Ada Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time police officer. The department serves the nearly 6000 residents of Ada. The Ohio Traffic Safety Office has awarded over $23 million for statewide programming to improve traffic safety and reduce traffic-related fatalities. 164 grants were awarded to 135 local agencies in 62 counties. A bomb threat email was received by Blanchard Valley Hospital at around 10 Tuesday night. According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, the email stated that explosives were located in the building.
