Upper Scioto Valley is holding a Breakfast with Santa event next month. It will be held from 9 until 11am on Saturday December 2. The menu consisting of pastries, sausage, fruit, juice, coffee and hot cocoa will be served in the USV cafeteria. You will have a chance to take pictures of your child with Santa. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for children, and 4 and under are free.

Kenton Elks Lodge #157 is holding its Inaugural Turkey Shoot on Saturday November 18 from 7 until 9pm. A drawing will take place once every 5 minutes for a ham, a turkey, or a gun. The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance is seeking nominations for the 2023 Alliance Annual Awards. Members may submit their nominations now. The categories are: Business of the Year; Small Business of the Year; Community Service Award; Nonprofit of the Year, Citizen of the Year and RE Allen Lifetime Achievement Award. Nominations will close at 4pm pm January 8, 2024.

The Hardin County Fair Reverse Raffle has been scheduled. It will be held on February 10, 2024. They are seeking donations to be used as cash prizes, auction items and door prizes. Those considering making a donation or for more information, contact Jolene Buchenroth at 567-674-6760.
