The Ohio State Highway Patrol is holding a Women's Academy Readiness Seminar on December 2. It will run from 9am until 1pm at the OSP Training Academy in Columbus. Those attending will learn about the recruitment process, physical fitness preparation, academy life, and more. Santa Parade Scheduled in Roundhead

The Roundhead Fire Department is holding a Santa Parade and pancake and sausage breakfast on December 9. The parade will line up at 8:30am at the Roundhead Fire Department and move out starting at 9. Those attending will have a chance to win in the Upper Scioto Valley EMS annual turkey  in a basket giving. Santa will also be handing out gifts.

Crash in Allen County Claims the Life of Lima Woman

A Lima woman was killed Monday night in a crash that occurred on State Route 65 in Allen County's Bath Township. According to a release from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 43 year old Brenda Linser failed to negotiate a curve while traveling north on 65.
