The Dunkirk CIC and area businesses are holding their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13th at 2:00 p.m. at the Dunkirk Park. The event is for children between the age of under 2 to 12 years old. The rain date will be Saturday April 20th at 2:00 p.m.

The University of Findlay chapter of Phi Kappa Phi honor society was recently recognized as a Circle of Excellence Platinum Chapter, the highest commendation a chapter can receive from the organization. A Kenton man was involved in a crash that occurred this morning in Logan County. WPKO Radio reported that a vehicle being driven by 23 year old Hunter Lawrence was struck on the driver's side by a vehicle being operated by 36 year old Marlet Enow, of Columbus. The crash occurred on State Route 347 near the Honda East Liberty Plant. There were no injuries. Enow was cited for failure to yield.
A culvert replacement project has been announced in Jackson Township beginning Thursday morning. According to the Hardin County Engineer's Office, the intersection of Township Roads 185 and 50 will be closing Thursday morning. 185 will be closed from Township Road 60 to Township Road 50. Hardin County 4-H’s 1st Cops vs. Clovers event has been scheduled. Shooting sports 4-H members have challenged the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department to a friendly competition with the intention of promoting 4-H Shooting Sports clubs and firearm safety. The event will be held April 6 from 10am until noon at the Hog Creek Game Club.

A crash injured two people on State Route 235 near County Road 60 Tuesday afternoon. According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, a car driven by Blake Wilson, of Kenton, began to slow down on 235 to make a turn into a private drive, when his was struck from behind by a vehicle being operated by Keaton Kipker, of Ada.
