HN Holds Open House; First Day of School Today

Families, educators and staff gathered this past Monday night for Hardin Northern's Open House.   Students were able to meet their teachers and reconnect with teachers, friends. They were also able to drop off their school supplies.  Today is the first day of school for the Polar Bears.

Kenton Tree Commission Meeting Tomorrow

The Kenton Tree Commission is scheduled to meet Thursday. A progress report on current tree removal will be presented. Several requests and concerns will also be discussed at the meeting. Members of the commission will also give a storm damage report. The meeting will start at 1 tomorrow afternoon at the Kenton City Building.

Mauk Out as Head Coach at Glendale

Former Kenton Football Head Coach Mike Mauk is out as head coach of the Glendale Falcons. MLJ Library Supply Drive Continues

The Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library's Back to School Supply Drive continues. The library is collecting school supplies for local kids now through August 25. You can place the items in a black tub by the door at the library or take them into the Youth Service's Office at 325 East Columbus Street in Kenton. Every item will be given to a local child in need.
