The Boil Water Advisory for the City of Kenton has been lifted. The advisory was issued early Tuesday morning after the city's water was shut down so crews could replace a faulty valve in the area of Marie and High Streets in Kenton. Once the water was turned back on, the advisory was issued. It was lifted as of around 12:45 Wednesday afternoon.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call reporting a possible domestic argument at a residence in the 23000 block of Woodstock Road in Union Township Tuesday morning. According to a release, Deputies responded to the scene and found the residence ransacked with blood stains throughout the first floor. A shoplifting incident was reported to Kenton police Tuesday night. According to the report, a customer at Walmart observed a man and woman push a cart full of merchandise out of the store. Safe Haven of Hardin County is holding a bowling fundraiser on Sunday April 28. The event will be held at Norada Lanes on State Route 235 north of Ada, and will feature a Chinese Auction and 50/50 drawing. The cost is $20 per person, and all proceeds benefit Safe Haven. The Kenton City Schools District held its transportation study and recommendations meeting last night, with a representative from the Ohio School Boards Association. Doug Palmer, the Transportation Consultant for the OSBA, presented those in attendance with a detailed report of his recommendations concerning proposed changes to the Kenton City Schools busing systems.
