One Escaped Inmate Captured, Search for Second Continues

James Lee (CAPTURED) One of two inmates who escaped from the Allen-Oakwood Correctional Institution in Lima has been captured, and authorities believe it won't be long before the second is located. A motor vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday morning is under investigation by the Kenton Police Department. Gracey Steele was awarded the R.A. Horn Outstanding Student Achievement Award 2022-2023 by the state support team Region 6. The Hardin County Board of Elections announced a change of dates for their June meeting. They will meet Tuesday, June 6 starting at 9am in their office in the Hardin County Courthouse in downtown Kenton for the monthly Board Meeting.   The original date for the Board Meeting was June 8.
