The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for 101 Smokehouse. The ribbon cutting will be held on Wednesday, April 12 at 4:00 PM. 101 Smokehouse is located at 120 South Main Street in Kenton.

Power was restored to AEP customers in Hardin County by late Saturday afternoon after the storm that rolled through early Saturday morning. The Hardin County Engineer's Office announced a road opening and a road closing today. County Road 150, between County Road 75 and McDonald Township Road 65 reopened today following a culvert replacement project that started in mid-March. Closing today will be County Road 20, between County Road 175 and Township Road 165. It will be closed for two to three weeks for a culvert replacement project.
