The next Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance Community Coffee will be held Tuesday, February 7 at 8:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Alliance Boardroom at 225 South Detroit Street in Kenton. Ashley Siefer of Blanchard Place will be the guest speaker. Attendees can ask questions and network while learning more about the Alliance and receive community updates. Students from Kenton High School's Conservation class are benefiting from a donation from Tractor Supply Company in Kenton. The store donated trail cameras, wildlife plot food, clothing, scent kits, and much more. In the Conservation class, students learn conservation science and wildlife management. These donations will support several students' education.
There are five blood drives scheduled this month around the region. The first is next Wednesday February 8 from 8am until 2pm at Hardin Northern School. Robin Paynter A woman with a New London, Ohio address was arrested on Monday at Kenton Nursing and Rehab. According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to the facility on Jacob Parrott Boulevard after receiving a call about a suspicious person. At the scene, officers arrested Robin Paynter. She is being held on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing official business.
