Details of Friday’s Injury Crash in Kenton Released

An injury accident occurred this past Friday afternoon in Kenton. According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 19 year old Hailey Melvin, of Kenton, was driving east on West North Street and failed to yield from the stop sign at North Detroit Street. Her vehicle was struck by a southbound car being driven by 61 year old Anthony Borbely, of Taylor, Michigan. Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles. […]

Hartzler Egg Nog Being Voluntarily Recalled

Hartzler Family Dairy of Wooster, Ohio announced a voluntary recall of its quart sized Egg Nog product. The sell-by dates on the product are December 15 and December 25. The recall is due to undeclared allergens.   There was a labeling defect with the quart sized bottles, and it did not include the list of ingredients in the product.

HN Band and Choir Concert Held Sunday

It's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas at Hardin Northern. The Junior and High School Band and Choir had their Christmas Concert yesterday (December 11, 2022).   School officials thanked everyone who attended, and they stated they appreciate their support of the talented students and music programs at Hardin Northern.   The Band Director at Hardin Northern is Cody Switzer. The Choir Director is Kelly Eikenbary.

Governor DeWine, Director Mertz Announce Rollout of Body Cameras for ODNR Officers

Another request for 4-H advisors is being sent. Amanda Raines, Hardin County OSU 4-H Educator, told the Hardin County Ag Society at its meeting last week that some representatives have been selected, but she is hoping the new request will generate more interest. Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act Introduced in U.S. Senate

The Senate Agriculture Committee introduced the Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act of 2022.
