Kenton Lions Welcome New Member

l-r: President Lion Bill Keller, Lion Aaron Osborn and Lion Gary Whitmer The Kenton Lions club met Wednesday at the Kenton Elks.   New member Lion Gary Whitmer was welcomed at the meeting.  Awards were then presented to: 10-year Chevron to Daryl Flowers and to Larry Gossard. The Club of Excellence award was presented to Aaron Osborn.  A donation was made to the Kenton Band Boosters before the meeting was adjourned.

KMS Gatekeepers Students Make Donation to Not By Choice

The Kenton Middle School Gatekeepers sponsored a school-wide movie before Christmas Break.  Admission to the movie was one canned good, donated to the Not By Choice food pantry.  Students were then provided a candy cane with information about the Hope Line, popcorn and water.  Gatekeepers also sold baked goods and were able to donate just under $100 to Not By Choice. Riverdale Holding Hoops for Hydrocephalus

The Riverdale girls basketball team will be having a "Hoops for Hydrocephalus" fundraiser on January 19. The Lady Falcons will be taking on Vanlue on the court that evening.  There will be chili, a bake sale and 50/50 raffle. Kindergarten screening at Hardin Northern for the 2023-24 school year has been scheduled for Wednesday May 3. It will be held from 8:30am until 3:30pm in the High School gymnasium.
