Hardin Half Marathon Taking Place Saturday

The Hardin Half Marathon is scheduled for this Saturday September 24. The Half Marathon, 5K, Fun Run and Walk and 25 mile bike ride is scheduled to begin at 8 Saturday morning at the Kenton High School's Athletic Building. Volunteers are needed, and if you are interested, contact the United Way office at 419-675-1860 or email director@unitedwayhardincounty.org  The proceeds benefit United Way of Hardin County.

“Glazed Over Kenton” has announced a Grand Opening date. The store will be located at 202 South Market Street adjacent to Root Lumber Company and is scheduled to open October 1. ODOT Crews Still Working; Motorists Asked to Move Over

Ohio Department of Transportation crews are still out working.  They plan to be out until the cold weather season starts. As they make roadway improvements, they are asking motorists to continue to pay attention.  When you see crews out paving, patching potholes or sweeping, remember to Move Over and Slow Down to keep the roadside workers safe.
