At a recent meeting, the Hardin County Commissioners received information on a tornado siren for the Kenton area. Kenton Mayor Lynn Webb and Kenton Fire Chief Bruce Donnelly stated that some areas are not hearing the one siren clearly. Career Exploration Day for Ridgemont students in grades 7-12 is scheduled for this Thursday March 24. All students must bring proof of attendance from their location that they choose. Also on Thursday, there is no school for students in grades Kindergarten through 6 for Parent Teacher Conferences. There is no school at Ridgemont this Friday, March 25th for Teacher Professional Development Day.
The Kenton City Schools will not be in session this Friday, March 25, 2022. According to a release from Superintendent Chad Thrush, parent/teacher conferences will be held that day. Classes for Kenton students will resume on Monday, March 28.
The Findlay Police Department announced the hiring of two new police officers. Jacob Frank and Jacob Hollis were sworn in Monday morning. The 23 year old Frank is a graduate of Maumee High School.
