Senior Coffee will be an ongoing event in the Village of Alger. It started last week and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9-11am at the Alger Social Center located at 210 North Main Street in the village. It is an opportunity for people to get together for coffee, conversation and fellowship. Any adult is welcome, and you don't have to be a senior citizen to attend.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reminded parents and guardians that they are key factors to teen driver safety. The patrol is promoting the Teach Your Teen To Drive website as a source for parents and guardians to use. It shows Ohio requirements, resources, and other educational information to help teens. The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office has announced the date for its annual DARE golf outing. It will be held on Saturday May 7 at Northmoor Golf. The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart and a meal. To register a team, contact Northmoor at 419-394-4896. The Kenton High School JROTC Drill Team competed at Trotwood-Madison High School in their invitational Drill Meet this past Saturday.
