ODOT Promotes Litter Clean-Up

The Ohio Department of Transportation dedicates millions of dollars to litter clean-up.  ODOT crews, inmates, and volunteer groups picked up 396,000 bags of trash along highways throughout the state in 2018, costing the agency a total cost of $4.1 million. Senior Coffee Event Started in Alger

Senior Coffee will be an ongoing event in the Village of Alger. It started last week and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9-11am at the Alger Social Center located at 210 North Main Street in the village. It is an opportunity for people to get together for coffee, conversation and fellowship. Any adult is welcome, and you don't have to be a senior citizen to attend.

ACSO DARE Golf Outing Scheduled for May 7

The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office has announced the date for its annual DARE golf outing. It will be held on Saturday May 7 at Northmoor Golf. The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart and a meal. To register a team, contact Northmoor at 419-394-4896. The Kenton High School JROTC Drill Team competed at Trotwood-Madison High School in their invitational Drill Meet this past Saturday. The Unarmed Squad commanded by Cadet Aiden MacKenzie placed second in his first time commanding.
