Don R. Lay, 78, of rural Belle Center, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday evening, May 20, 2021, after battling congestive heart failure. Don was born in Hardin County on September 13, 1942, to the late Earl and Elizabeth (Sproul) Lay. He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Lloyd Lay, Dorothy Kelley, and Edward Lay.
