Noah Eikenbary placed 1st at The Dale Coroll Invite in Clyde Ohio. Eikenbary was the 220 lbs top seed for the tournament. The Kenton Lady Wildcats got back on the winning track Saturday afternoon, defeating Waynesfield-Goshen 54-41 in non-league girls basketball play. The win snapped an eight-game losing streak for Kenton and improved the Lady Wildcats' record to 4-15. Kenton travels to River Valley on Tuesday and will host Elida in Western Buckeye League play on Thursday in a game that will be broadcast live on WKTN.
The Ridgemont girls basketball team won for the eighth time in its last nine outings, defeating Riverdale 55-37 Saturday afternoon. The Golden Gophers (11-9) got a game-high 24 points from Faith Jenkins while seven other players found the scoring column for Ridgemont.
