Driver Cited After Sunday Afternoon Crash in Kenton

Two vehicles were damaged in a crash that occurred Sunday afternoon at the intersection of South Detroit and Walnut Streets in Kenton.

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, Ramierez Trigueros, 27 of Virginia, was at a stop sign on Walnut and when he entered the intersection, his vehicle struck a northbound pickup truck being driven by Dawn Richardson, 48 of Kenton.

Moderate damage occurred to both vehicles.

Trigueros was cited for a stop sign violation.
