This past weekend the Elwood Motorsports kart racing team traveled to the Motorsports Country Club in Cincinnati for the ProAm final points double header race in search of the track championship.
Driver Alan Elwood would need to max out on points to have a shot at the title and he did just that.
Elwood grabbed the pole position on Saturday, finished second in the prefinal then won the final.
On Sunday, Elwood qualified third, won the prefinal then grabbed the runner up spot in the final.
The points accumulated over the two days secured Elwood the weekend championship, and he was crowned Track Champion.
He now has a championship as a dirt kart racer and asphalt kart racer.
The Elwood’s plan to race the ProAm series again in 2025.
