Fire Contained to Piece of Machinery at Graphic Packaging

A fire was reported at Graphic Packaging early this morning.

According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to the plant at 1300 South Main Street at around 2:30 this morning when a fire alarm was activated.

A machine in the plant caught fire, and employees using fire extinguishers had the fire out when firefighters arrived.

The fire department is still working on the report.
