The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for Hardin, Logan, Central Auglaize and Northern Union Counties until 5 this evening.

The picture was taken from on the Leighton Street bridge. The water is very close to the bottom of the bridge.

Local law enforcement reported flooding is occurring.

Several roads are closed or have high water.

Up to two inches of rain has already fallen.

Moderate to at times heavy rainfall fell across the area this morning.

Scattered thunderstorms will again be possible this afternoon and evening, and any slow moving storm will be capable of producing very heavy rain rates and localized flash flooding.

Additional rounds of showers and storms will be possible again Wednesday afternoon into Thursday, with locally heavy rainfall again possible both of these days.

Some strong to severe storms are also possible on Wednesday afternoon and night.

The National Weather Service, as well as law enforcement agencies around the region, remind motorists not to drive across flooded roadways. Remember the phrase turn around don’t drown.
