The former superintendent of the Kenton City School District is facing backlash in her position at Chagrin Falls.

According to chagrinvalleytoday.com, earlier this month, Chagrin Falls Education Association (CFEA) and the Chagrin Falls Local of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE) voted No Confidence in District Superintendent Jennifer Penczarski and Director of Strategic Operations and Human Resources Christopher Woofter.

That marked the first time ever that either association has voted No Confidence in an administration.

In a joint statement, the associations stated that events over the past two years have solidified the need for a change in leadership.

A number of staff members have expressed their interest to move to another district, retire or just quit, and that morale is at an all-time low.

They blame that on the actions and decisions of Penczarski and Woofter.

Dr. Penczarski was superintendent for the Kenton City School District from 2010 to 2021.
