Fostoria Man Arrested Following Robbery at Walmart in Findlay

A robbery was reported to the Findlay Police Department Monday afternoon.

According to a release, the incident occurred at Walmart on Tiffin Avenue in Findlay.

Witnesses advised a male committed a theft from the store, and when he was confronted by a citizen and asset protection, the suspect pointed to his pocket and appeared to be holding a gun towards them.

He then fled the scene in a vehicle, which was stopped by the Fostoria Police Department in Fostoria.

The suspect, identified as 41 year old Jason Durst, was placed under arrest by the Findlay Police Department.

He was transported to the Hancock County Justice Center where he is being held on a charge of robbery.
