Galion Woman Killed in Weekend Accident in Marion County

One person was killed in a crash to start the weekend in Marion County.

According to a release from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Patrol, Marsha E. Hartman, 62 of Galion, lost control of her vehicle while driving west on State Route 309.

The car went off the right side of the road where it struck a mailbox, the ditch and two trees.

Hartman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
