GenNext Makers Camp is launching this summer in Lima. The camp is designed to provide elementary and middle-school students, ages 10 to 13, with a broader perspective on the scope of options they have upon graduation from high school.
The City of Lima along with the Bradfield Community Center, Lima City Schools, Rhodes State College, Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Graduate Medical Education Center, and Procter and Gamble at a hand in designing the camp.
Activities will show the students where STEM education can take them, along with all the opportunities available through Lima’s local manufacturers.
The camp will take place July 15th through 18th from 9 AM to 3 PM at the Bradfield Community Center.
There is no cost to enroll, and the participating youth must live in the City of Lima.
Please visit the City of Lima’s website for more information or to register.
