A groundbreaking ceremony will be held this Saturday May 13 for the Kenton City Schools new Middle and High School building project.
The official ceremony took place at 10:30 this past Saturday morning (May 13) with numeorus dignitaries attending.
Kenton High School Business Professionals of America also hosted a series of events to complement the celebration.
Superintendent Chad Thrush said that if construction goes as planned, they hope to have students enter the building for the 2025/26 school year.
The district plans to tear down buildings B and C at the Kenton High School. Building A will be converted to the new Administration Building.
The Oaklief and Middle School buildings will also be razed.
