Groundbreaking for New Kenton School Building this Saturday

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held this Saturday May 13 for the Kenton City Schools new Middle and High School building project.

The official ceremony will take place at 10:30 Saturday morning with dignitaries attending. 

Kenton High School Business Professionals of America is hosting a series of events to complement the celebration. 

The Wildcat Groundbreaker 5K will be hosted by the High School Cross Country Team. 

The race will start at 9 am from the new building site. 

Following the Groundbreaking Ceremony, Kenton City Schools clubs and organizations will have booth spaces operating along Silver Street. 

Two food trucks, Fork in the Road and 101 Smokehouse on Wheels, will serve lunch on-site for the community.
