Hardin County Man Arrested in Connection to Missing McGuffey Man, Faces Multiple Charges Including Murder

Just a short while ago (11/7/24), the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office announced they have arrested 42-year-old Dustin Ray Bolen on indictment in connection to the investigation of a missing McGuffey man, Michael Bolen.

Dustin Ray Bolen has been charged with the following: Murder, tampering with evidence, Gross Abuse of a Corpse, having weapons under disability, trafficking in fentanyl, theft from a person in a protected class, and possessing criminal tools.

Dustin Ray Bolen is currently being housed at the Multi-County Correctional Facility awaiting arraignment on the listed charges.

The Sheriff’s Office thanked the Hardin County Prosecutor’s Office for assistance with this investigation.

The in-depth investigation is ongoing.
